This is a "field of dreams" project. I said to myself, "If I build an easy to use form where errors or updates to EAPG Reference materials can be added quickly and easily...they will come." In time, together we will create a master list and eliminate all the reprinted errors we find in references today. Thus...the EAPG Reference Corrections & Additions Online Database Project was created.
There is a very real problem with the errors of the past continuing to propagate themselves when re-printed in new EAPG reference material and articles today. New collectors get confused and long-time collectors, frustrated. This project is an attempt to reduce, or eliminate this problem.
The database is also searchable. Entries for specific books, articles, patterns, or any field in the database can be pulled and listed. For example, let's say you get a book and want to check for any errors, or new information, found since it was published. You can go into the search function of the database, select the book from the drop-down list and click the "Search" button. All the entries for that book will come up for you to make note in your own book.
You can also run single keyword searches.
Disputes about suggested entries will be discussed through the EAPGlass Discussion List, EAPGlass Forum, and/or the EAPG Society. If there is an unresolved disagreement about information, it will be noted within the entry.
