I'm sure we all have wonderful stories about how and why we started collecting EAPG glass. My story began at a farm estate sale about 13 miles from where I live. I bought a nice oak sideboard at the sale. When I brought it home and put it in my livingroom it struck me that I didn't have anything "appropriate" to display on my new "old" sideboard. So I hit the internet looking for some nice antique glass to display. Suddenly a whole new world opened up for me and it didn't take long to get hooked. I had decided the only right thing to put on this nice old sideboard was nice old glass.

I collect anything by Riverside Glass Works. My favorite pattern is Riverside Empress. Second priorities are Derby and Victoria. I do pick up other colors and patterns as they strike my fancy, however.

This glass is so beautiful that I want to share it with the world. What was inexpensive everyday tableware 100 years ago, is something rare and very special today. Collecting this glass makes me long for the beauty and craftmenship of the past. I am fortunate to be able to collect these pieces of history and enjoy them everyday.
